The Finca is set in a village location close to the town of Fuente Alamo. We popped into the local bar for a coffee and both staff and customers were very friendly and welcoming.
While benefiting from all the benefits of a peaceful rural location there is access to the motorway in less than five minutes. The beaches of Puerto de Mazarron can be reached in 20 minutes by car and the cities of Cartagena and Murcia are only about a half an hour away.
Condado de Alhama golf resort is only 5 minutes away by car and beyond that there are many more courses within half an hour’s drive.
There is an international school in Fuente Alamo and Kings College in Balsicas is around 30 minutes drive.
The motorway network provides easy access literally to the rest of Spain with the Sierra Nevada only 2.5 – 3 hours to the south west and Madrid and Valencia only 3-4 hours away
The new Corvera International Airport, which will be opening hopefully in 2018 will be only 10 minutes away (San Javier Airport is only 30 minutes away).
With such easy access to the motorway network and the airport, if run as a B&B this property could benefit hugely hosting people overnight as they come in and out of the country (there is even space to unobtrusively offer car parking and shuttle services). The proximity to so many golf courses could attract golfing holidays and the position of the property in relation to so many cites and beaches make it the ideal position for holiday makers who wish to see a number of different areas during a holiday. We expect that the launch of the new airport will have a positive effect on the demand for property in the area.
